DIY – How to Make Shirt & Tie Greeting Card for Birthday !
In this master class I will tell you how to make a postcard shirt with a tie and a jacket with your own hands, in the form of an addition to your gift in the men’s day on February 23.
For its manufacture we will need:
• white cardboard in the size of 20×20 cm;
• cardboard blue in size 10×10 cm;
• red and white cardboard separately;
• two buttons;
• glue gun;
• sharp scissors;
• a pencil.
We prepare the basis for the postcard . Of white cardboard will be the main part and shirt at the same time, and from blue will be a jacket.
We cut out a strip of 2.5×7 cm from white cardboard and draw the lines, stepping back from the edge as indicated on the diagram. It will be the collar of the shirt.
Now our task is to make a neat fold while forming the collar. Therefore, on the drawn lines we press the back side of the scissors. Lateral parts bend to itself.
On the reverse side of the blue cardboard, which is designed for the jacket, just draw lines.
We cut the middle line, and we also scissor and bend two oblique lines. Pay attention, if your cardboard has a front side, then the collar from the jacket should look exactly at it.
We cut out a tie from a red cardboard, preliminary having made drawing.
Now glue the tie on the inside of the collar, fixing it wherever the corners of the two sides of the white cardboard come into contact. That is, for them the tie should not stand up and will be hidden inside.
We glue in the middle of the blank from white cardboard only a tie, having a collar over the top edge end-to-end. It turns out that the corners of the collar should hang over the cardboard.
From above we glue a cardboard jacket and decorate it with two buttons.
