Make a small ball out of some green dough.
Flatten the ball, don’t make it to thin or it will just break up.
Make a leaf shape, slightly pointed at one end, rounded at the other.
Use a knife or modelling tools to make indentations in the dough to represent the leaf veins.
Stick to your dough ornament using a little water.
Make as many leaves as you need and put them in place before making your flowers.
Make 6 balls of dough in the color you want your flower to be.
Roll one of the balls into a cylinder shape.
Flatten 5 of the balls you want these quite thin. As you will be using all of these together they will not be flimsy when finished.
Use your brush to dampen along one edge of each petal.
Wrap one petal around the cylinder shape. It won’t go all the way around but that’s fine.
Wrap the next petal, slightly overlapping the first so the cylinder shape is covered.
